During Meatpacking Design Week the Meatpacking District was a hub of activity to more than 10,000 design aficionados visiting the neighborhood.

From May 14^th-17^th Catherine Malandrino’s Meatpacking District boutique was home to “Conversation Intime”, a mix of contemporary furniture including two SEZZ lamps and a Southbeach chair by Christophe Pillet inspired by his quote, “I am for a design language that makes sense and fits with the objects that surround us.” 

On Sunday May 17^th, the Catherine Malandrino Meatpacking District boutique hosted a cocktail party to celebrate the Meatpacking Design Week 2009 and Christophe Pillet’s unique installation.  Guests sipped white wine and admired “Conversation Intime” as Meatpacking Design Week 2009 drew to a close.
